Finding your dream job can be exhilarating, but it can also be one of the most difficult things you’ll ever do. I know, I’ve been there.

Before becoming a career coach, I worked in human resources and administration for 20 years in a variety of industries.When I look back, it’s clear that I was an entrepreneur at heart. It began in the 1980s, with a successful babysitting enterprise. But, at the time I didn’t consider it an option to be self-employed, so I did what seemed right and found a job.

As I continued to change jobs every few years, I felt like I knew what I didn’t want to do. Yet, I still wasn’t certain what it was that I really wanted in a career. Already armed with a degree in Mass Communications, I enrolled in graduate school and studied human resources and business. I was starting to find some happiness in my career, but something was still missing. At some point, I realized I wasn’t the only one searching for that ideal, dream job.There must be others out there facing that same daunting challenge. That’s when I had my “aha” moment. I wanted to help others in career transition find their dream job. I wanted to be a Career Coach!
